Strange show about a girl that falls in love with bad ass punk and wakes up one morning as his right hand. Enough said.

Midori Days is based on the Shonen Sunday manga. It was made into a simple 13 episode anime which are my favorite since I can watch an entire series in a week.

The plot is simple yet complex. Seiji Sawamura is the meanest bad ass in his school yet he seems to have a soft spot for protecting weaker kids from bullies. I believe it's because his older sister is an even meaner bitch that kicks his ass whenever they cross paths. He has an issue with picking up chicks though as he has zero confidence around hot ladies. One girl with even less confidence is in love with him and wishes hard that she can be with him. Her name is Midori. His self-loathing leads him to believe he'll grow old with only his right hand to love him. The next day he wakes up with Midori as his right hand. Comedy ensues.

The best character has to be the pervy Shuichi Takamizawa, a doll otaku. He wanders around with a doll on his hand making him look a lot like Seiji except that he is insane. Plus he makes Seiji look insane as well cause he always draws attention to Midori.

There are a lot of awkward titty shots of Midori. She seems to be a magnet for groping and rubbing. It would be fine except for the fact that she is supposed to be 16 which makes it a little wrong. On the wronger side of wrong is Seiji's neighbor Shiori Tsukishima. She's 10 years old and is way too into Seiji bordering on lust. Luckily she finds a new boyfriend.

This show is a comedy not a hentai panty-fest. You do see some boobs and some bouncy bouncy but other than those few moments it's all about the wacky situation Seiji is in with Midori. I recommend watching this series simply for the weirdness factor.

I would buy it. In fact if I post a review of an anime and don't bash it to hell that means you should be watching it. That is of course if you're into freaky shit like me.

Next up after Dragon Quest is Onegai Teacher.

Witchblade is pretty sweet. I'm still working my way through it. It has a nice mix of sexy, asskicking, funny and serious that makes it great for a 16 to 35 year old crowd. If the story arch stays solid and gets a little deeper it will be one of my favorites, but if it just starts repeating battle after battle its overall rating will drop. I'll post an overall update when I hit the last episode.

I'm a bit curious as to why this anime review has so many views compared to other reviews I have posted. Why do so many people look at this review? Is it the weirdness of the storyline or are there really that many people into living hand puppets?
