Probably one of the greatest big breasted anime characters out there. And the stories not bad either.

Grenadier: The Smiling Senshi follows the travels of the extremely BIG breasted Rushuna Tendō, an expert senshi, and the samari Yajirō Kojima, a mercenary swordsman. A Senshi or "Enlightened" is one who is skilled to some degree in the use of guns.

My first impression of this series is that the main character is hot and great with a gun but the constant use of her boobs to reload her gun seems ridiculous after the 5th time seeing it. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing them bounce and what not but it starts to look like the same clip playing over and over. That aside, the story gets pretty good and her character starts to take shape around episode 3. Her sidekick is the sword wielding merc Yajiro and his personality really help balance hers out. She is all be nice and smile and he is all what the fuck is wrong with you? Pull your gun! During the course of the show he slowly learns from her and she from him.

The quality of the animation and sound is excellent. The Japanese voice actors are good but I haven't been able to find a good copy of the english dub for me to sample the voice acting.

The story is interesting enough and gets better as it moves along, adding new characters and revealing new enemies.

The nudity level is low considering the main character is a giant breasted blonde that uses her titts to reload and lives for bathing in hot springs. You never see nipples as far as I know and never see much else other than panty shots.

The violence is low key too. Rushuna never shoots to kill and you don't see much blood on anyone. Her enemies do kill people in nasty ways but even they don't show much blood.

This show could be aired on Cartoon Network around 8pm or 9 without raising too many eyebrows and is easy to use as an Adult Swim early show or closer.

I just hope that Rushuna's eye candy isn't the soul of the show and that she devolopes into a more dramatic character with more emotion (you like that? I hope she "Developes". ;P)

All in all I'd say rent it at the very least and buy it if the clips below get you hard.
